Good Quality Pentair Pool Light Parts

If you intend to use your swimming pool at night then you need to have pool lighting. Pool lighting in your swimming pool is a necessity just like you can’t do without a pool pump, a pool filter, a pool heater and pool chemicals. The lighting in and around the swimming must be adequate. You cannot afford to invest in inferior lighting systems. The kind of lighting systems that you need in your swimming pool must be able to provide the right ambience. The lighting should not be flat. You need something unique in your swimming pool. Being unique does not necessarily mean that you will need to spend a lot of money in buying lighting solutions for your pool.

So what lighting options do you have? There are many options that you can work with comfortably, proper research is needed for you to get the kind of lighting that you desire to have in the swimming pool. The most popular pool lighting options include fiber-optic, floating light and LED. LED lights are probably the most popular in residential swimming pools. LED lights are environmentally friendly and they certainly do last for a very long time. The LED lights last six times the life span offered in the old fashioned lighting systems (incandescent lights). Although LED lights are a bit costly because of their initial cost they are cheaper in the long run as they make use of less energy and they last long. LED lights are also very bright, they can provide the right kind of illumination in pitch darkness for nighttime safety.

With LED lights you will be able to push a button to change the color of lighting providing the right ambience. LED lights provide a range of solutions for below the water and above the water in the pool. Floating lights on the other hand are easy to install and they are less costly. This is a great solution in adding lighting in a swimming pool. The floating lights can either be allowed to float freely in the swimming pool or tethered to make them stick to particular locations in the swimming pool. These lights use rechargeable batteries and they provide a range of lighting styles and colors. In addition to running on rechargeable batteries floating lights which run on solar power are also available.

Fiber optics offer another safe lighting system in the swimming pool. The fiber optic cable used does not have electricity running through it, which makes the lights totally safe. Fiber optics can be installed around the pool rim or on the floor to create a brilliant effect in the pool. Because fiber optics are not very bright you will need to have several strands of the lights installed to provide enough light. Pentair pool lights offer all of the above types of lighting systems. Some of the Pentair lights for the swimming pool come with additional parts to create the perfect effect in and around the pool. Learn more about Pentair pool light parts here
